Wesley Fager was always a well thought out man. He never said anything until he had fact checked it over and over again. When Wesley spoke you knew it was true. People commented that he could be “long winded” at times but you had to listen to the entire background of the story he was telling you to understand the point of the story and he wanted you to know he had researched the hell out of every aspect of the story.
I remember speaking to him on the phone during that “Pumpgate”case in Florida and he said, “I called Lenny Englander’s office for comment on the case.” I don’t recall Mr. Englander had anything to say. But that was Wesley.
We will be writing about Wesley life work often. Wesley is a hero, so check back with us. This is a link to an editorial he wrote while he was fighting cancer and that the St. Petersburg Times posted to their electronic site. Wesley passed on February 13, 2009.
